How long does Google take to update their results?
I searched last week for my last name and my universal username Hihey9989 via Google since I’m feeling like my privacy and/or reputation could be at risk.
I removed my last name from everywhere it was posted with the Hihey9989 account. How long does it take for Google to update this stuff, and will Amazon.com’s affiliates update their product reviews?
Honestly, I have no idea if it ever *will* happen. I’m in the same situation. For example, I joined several Facebook groups with questionable names and nasty language. They come up on a Google Search of me, and I realize people might see me in a way that I’d rather them not, so I left these groups. Several months ago. And the results are still there. So, I strongly sympathize with you.
I just found this website, ‘http://www.reputationdefender.com/’. It might be of use. It sucks that one would have to pay for something as fundamental as privacy, but at least we now know how vulnerable our private information is.
I hope this works
