Can a “DVI to HDMI” cable convey 1080p signal?
I tried to connect my PC(with a nvidia FX 5200 card) to a 1920×1080p LCD TV. Because the VGA port in the TV can support only up to the 1280×1024 mode, and I really wanted to test the effect of 1920×1080p. From www.dse.com.au I brought a HDMI to DVI cable, it works ok with 1280*768p, but can only works with 1920×1080i. In the graphics card setting, I set to 1920*1080. I wonder weather the graphics card send out the 1920×1080i signal or the TV can’t handle the progressive scan and scale down to the interlaced scan?
It is most likely your graphic card, but do check the specs of your card as well.

has anyone had a bad experiance with happy fx
they claim 25,000 pips since oct 08 and no losers
is camsie L still out there because he said he had a bad experiance with them
