I haven’t purchased any new robots this week, but I’ve received some good recommendations that I’m busy investigation. The robot that I’m seriously considering at the moment is Forex Hippo. This EA has consistently been one of the top performers at sites like Forex Peace Army and Forex Project, so I think it’s about time that I also test it. If you are aware of any other EA’s that are performing well please don’t hesitate to send me an email.
For now, here are my trading results for the past week:
1. Manual Trading
Unfortunately I spent the whole week working on improvements to my website and didn’t get around to any manual trading. I do plan to commit a lot more time to manual trading soon, so I hope to start posting some results within the next few weeks.

2. Robot Testing in Live Accounts

Forex Megadroid (Using Alpari UK): After feedback from other users and some testing of my own, I decided to enable Megadroid’s aggressive strategy again. It traded 3 times the past week and made a profit of 10%, so this new setting is definitely off to a good start. The overall profit is now at 47% after just less than 8 months of live trading.

3. Robot Testing in Demo Accounts
Forex Crescendo: Something is wrong with my Forex Crescendo installation, because it hasn’t closed any trades since I installed it on 28 September. I’ve send Andrea an email to find out what I did wrong with my setup and I’m waiting for his feedback. To those who purchased this robot via my link – I will hopefully send you details of the webinar with Andrew sometime later this week.
Forex Greenbot: The new version 1.11 of the Greenbot made a loss of -2.18% in its first week of trading. This was the first losing week for this robot since I started testing it 1 month ago, so at the moment the effectiveness of the new version is still questionable. Despite this losing week, the Greenbot has made an overall profit of 26% in its first month of testing, so the overall results are still looking very good. Forex Combo System: Closed a number of winning trades and ended up with a profit of 5.5% for the week. This puts the overall profit at 6.5% after one and a half weeks of testing and the 3 strategies that it uses seems to be very effective so far. Note: if you decide to buy this robot – use the coupon code CCD30 on the checkout page to save $30 on your order. I’m not sure for how long this coupon will be active. Probability EA: Had its first losing week and made a loss of -4%. I’ve been testing this one for exactly 1 month now, and the overall profit after this period is 5%. It’s a pity about the losses of last week, but overall things are still looking good for this robot.
Fish Forex Robot: Made a profit of 2% for the week. Unfortunately this account is still down by -16% since the big loss it took a few weeks ago. I’m still waiting for Rita to release a new version or a change to the settings that will make this robot a little safer. Forex Bulletproof: Made a profit of 1% for the week. This robot is supposed to be all about slow, consistent earnings using a low risk strategy, but based on the Martingale behaviour we have seen so far I just think that it doesn’t live up to these expectations. I’ll give it another week or two, but right now I’m 99% certain that this is not a good robot to buy.
